In the Bangladeshi context, food sovereignty will not be achieved without climate justice. Climate change already threatened food security in Bangladesh many times. Thousands of people especially people from farming communities already migrated as climate refugees. Climate change is hammering down the food production over the years. Crops failure is the common scenario for many farmers and cyclone, flood, storm surge are more frequent and stronger than before. In this worst situation, climate justice can give the best chance to the Bangladeshi farming communities to survive in better scale. We want to achieve food sovereignty and ensuring climate justice is way forward to achieve it.
